For referring physicians
Dr. Daggubati welcomes referrals from primary care, neurology, oncology, pain management, physiatry, emergency medicine and orthopedic colleagues across the DMV. Urgent cases are seen the same or next business day.
How to refer
- Call (301) 718-9611 and ask for the referral coordinator, fax to (301) 718-2979, or send the referral through your EMR to Washington Brain & Spine Institute (Privia Health), attention Dr. Daggubati.
- Include the most recent imaging (MRI/CT) and report, relevant notes, and the clinical question.
- For inpatient consultations at any of the six affiliated hospitals, contact the hospital operator for neurosurgery on call.

Spine and nerve
- Endoscopic and tubular MIS decompression, same-day discharge
- Cervical disc replacement and ACDF; posterior cervical decompression/fusion
- Navigated/robotic MIS TLIF and lateral fusion
- Spinal fractures: TLICS/SLICS-guided management, percutaneous stabilization, kyphoplasty
- Spinal tumors and metastatic spine disease (separation surgery, percutaneous stabilization)
- Spinal cord stimulation trial and implant

Cranial
- Gliomas, metastases, meningiomas and skull base tumors — including awake mapping, LITT and endoscopic endonasal approaches
- Pituitary lesions (joint pituitary program with endocrinology and ENT)
- Hydrocephalus / NPH evaluation, including lumbar drain trials
- Chiari malformation, CSF leak
- Trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm
- Subdural hematoma and emergency cranial surgery
What you and your patient can expect
- A consult note back to you within 48 hours of the visit, with a clear plan.
- Conservative management recommended whenever appropriate, with the reasoning documented.
- Direct surgeon-to-physician phone access for urgent questions.
- Patients return to your care with written post-operative guidance and follow-up milestones.

Dr. Daggubati has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, and participates in clinical research in neuro-oncology and minimally invasive spine surgery.
